It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we write to inform you that our President, Gregory T. Miller, has passed away. During his time as president, Greg worked to foster a greater collaboration with the Law School, to assist small and solo practitioners, and to make the Association an essential component of legal practice in Erie County.
He once said that being a lawyer “alters your world view and perspective on matters big and small, because of the degree of responsibility that you have to others.” And that “while the practice of law is an individual task, the advancement of the law is our collective responsibility.”
President Miller was an integral part of our legal community and he will be very deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
